Eeek! Third grade.

Summer is officially gone. Fall has arrived and that means so has school. I still cannot believe my child is in third grade, THIRD! I was thrilled when she went to VPK, First and Second but i'm having a difficult time with third grade. I must admit i cried like a baby. I cried during the meet and greet and on her first day I arrived at my job in tears. I need to learn how to let go a bit, You know those crazy parents that fear field trips and having their children away from them hours at a time? Well that's me! I am extra paranoid when it comes to my gems. I am working on that but so far i cannot help it. I can sob all day about how heart broken i am that my children are growing up so enough now to the fun part (pictures).

I decided to share a few pictures from her first week of school.

Rain, Rain come and Play!

A few posts down I shared Hailey and Leannah's Hunter-Boots. After making up their own little chant ''Rain, rain come and play, sun come out another day!'' They finally used their boots and the little ladies were oh so very excited..

Rain, Rain we would love to play!

My daughters are both in love with wearing boots. If they could choose ONE item in their closet 9 out of 10 a pair of boots would be their pick. I decided I would splurge a little and get them their first pair of Hunters. I was obsessing over which to get but I think I made the right decision; the girls seem to be overjoyed!!

Leannah had these cute little yellow rain boots from gap, which I adore. She wore them everyday even with her Pj’s as I recall there were times when I would take them off her because she was in bed ready for some sleepy time. I had to get rid of them because the SMELL was horrific and she grew out of them. I hope she gives these a break!
